THE 41ST SPRING SALAD
LUNCHEON will be held on
April 23rd. There are many
opportunities for you to use your talents, brains, and brawn. Please sign up in the notebook at the Adult
Life table in the narthex beginning March 30th. There is a variety of activities available
such as setting up tables, preparing salads, baking or serving pies, serving
beverages, clearing tables, and washing dishes.
There is something for everyone. Put the date on your calendar and bring

are blessed with a few regular volunteers, but more are definitely needed,

GDK PRESCHOOL
is now enrolling for the 2008-09 school year.
Registration forms are available on the Rosemount UMC Children’s Welcome
Table and on our website at www.godsdiscoverykids.org. We will be offering classes for three, four,
and five-year-olds. Contact
Carnivale is
coming up on Friday, April 25.
Volunteers (middle school and up) are needed for this exciting and
terrific opportunity to serve families with special needs children and their
siblings. This program is growing by
leaps and bounds simply by word of mouth both in the church and in the
surrounding communities. If you can volunteer

– Gerten’s Fundraiser continues thru Sunday, April 6th. Anyone interested, please see us at the scout

THE
OPERATION CLASSROOM UPDATE…There continues to be a need for empty medicine bottles by
the Operation Classroom clinics. Please leave them in the Donation
Location in the marked bin. We will be sending a spring shipment this
year to Operation Classroom consisting mostly of the medicine bottles. We
need one person to deliver the boxes to Lake Harriet UMC on Friday, May 9
between
SIMPSON SHELTER Serving of hot meals…The
next available serving dates are April 21 and May 19. A sign up sheet is located on the west wall
in the fellowship hall. For more info contact Rich Wirt 651-322-2331.
THE CLOTHING CLOSET AT NORTH UMC takes donated clothing from the community and distributes
them to low income and homeless families in
RECYCLING…To add to our regular recycling of cell phones and printer
cartridges, the Lions Club is collecting your old glasses. If you have questions, Hans Student is the
contact person, 952-432-8024. All
donations can be left at the “Donation Location” near the pop machines.
ALL-CHURCH SPRING CLEAN-UP DAY-Saturday, April 12th from 8:30a –
