Elevation Youth Ministries:

 

Sunday, Nov. 4th – Sr. High Youth meets! – 6-8pm upstairs in the ATTIC. We will be outside…so please wear appropriate clothing for the weather and a good pair of walking shoes! Topic: “4 year olds are smarter than us?” Hope you can join us!

 

Monday, Nov. 5th – NOOMA Night for 8th & 9th grade confirmands and their mentors. Held from 6-7pm upstairs in the ATTIC. Remember, if your mentor can not make it to NOOMA Night…please attend with a parent.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 7th – Club 78 (for 7th & 8th graders) meets from 6:30-8pm upstairs in the ATTIC! We will be going outside so please wear appropriate clothing and a good pair of walking shoes for our evening! Our topic: “Watch your mouth!” – The 2nd commandment.

 

TIM LEMMENS CONCERT! You and your family are invited to Tim Lemmens and his band on Friday, November 9th at 7pm in the Family Life Center! Special Guest to open the show will be Rosemount UMC’s Director of Youth Ministries – Josh Corbett. No tickets are necessary for the concert. Just come and enjoy! Free will offering will be taken the evening of the show. Monies will go to cover the cost of Tim Lemmens and band and anything above and beyond will go toward Youth Ministries. You are invited for a great time and some great music! We are also looking for set up help, evening hosts and greeters, and a tear down and clean up crew for the concert. Operation Christmas Child – We will be serving at the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center on Wed. Nov. 21st & Tues. Nov. 27th. We will be meeting at Rosemount UMC at 5:15pm to depart for our serving on both nights. We will return home around 9:30pm. There are still spots open to serve on both nights! I hope you will consider serving with us! Please wear clothing that you don’t mind if they get dirty and also wear closed toed shoes! TIM LEMMENS and band in Concert with Special Guest: Josh Corbett (Josh is Rosemount UMC’s Youth Director) at Rosemount UMC on Friday, November 9th beginning at 7pm in the Family Life Center. Free will offering/donations will be accepted the night of the concert. (Suggested price per person $10) No tickets necessary for the concert!

Donations needed : Soup ingredients, your favorite holiday treats or pies for the Bake Shop, crafts of handwork, fabric or woodwork.

BAZAAR CRAFT TABLES AVAILABLE…In addition to our traditional bazaar baked goods, crafts, and quilts;  we are pleased to offer tables to crafters/business persons at our  upcoming church bazaar, Saturday, November 17th. Persons interested in purchasing table space should call Bonnie  Student(952-432-8024) or Laurie Fosburgh (953-432-4849) for information.

 

HOLIDAY BAZAAR CRAFTS…We are ‘crafting’ items for the Bazaar.  If you have ideas, or can help create Bazaar items, come Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. beginning October 11.  Any questions, call Joyce Richardson, 651-894-0455.

ADULT MINISTRIES

 

3M'S WILL MEET ON THE 2ND TUESDAY IN NOVEMBER,  11/13/07.  Our program will be at 11:30 A.M. OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE

 

THE CLOTHING MINISTRY AT NORTH UMC The Clothing Ministry at North UMC needs volunteers to help sort clothing and help the customers find what they are looking for.  The next date the clothing ministry is open is Saturday, November 2 from 9am - noon.  If you are interested in helping, please call Becky Havlicek at 952.322.4208.  We can carpool from the church at 8:15.


 "THE ROSEMOUNT FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER'S FOODSHELF is a bare cupboard!  We are asking for donations the last two Sundays in October to be brought to the church which will then be delivered to the center.  A handout with specific items will be shared.  Any food item unopened and non-perishable is appreciated.  Thank you in advance for your generosity!  The Missions Team"     If you have any questions, please let me know.  Folks at RUMC have always come through for the Center, and I hope this reminder put in front of them enough will inspire some to share.  Thanks, Judy Good  Dale and Judy Good Ph. 651-423-2273.
