Metro East District Meeting, Arlington Hills UMC, Maplewood. Registration and coffee begins at 8:30, 9:00 Programming, Lunch at 12:30, lunch $7.00, program only $2.00. Keynote speaker: Elizabeth Everett, "SALAAM, SHALOM, PEACE" current study. Also: Training for local unit officers, DVD, CD and videos relating to current studies and the Assembly; Reading Program Books to Purchase and the Conference Lending Library; displays of local units mission projects. Registration deadline RESURRECTION WOMEN, A Spiritual Growth Retreat designed by the Women's Division and sponsored by the Conference UMW. Friday evening-Sunday lunch, May 4-6 at Koinonia Retreat Center, South Haven, near Annandale. SCHOOL OF CHRISTIAN MISSION weekend, Friday afternoon-Sunday lunch. Everyone takes the Israel and Palestine study. Leaders will be Rev. Ken and his wife, Bishop Sally Dyck. Choose either Globalization and Its Impact on Peoples Lives or Music and Mission for the second study.
