Lori Glitto
Hi! I come to your children with over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages. I have a degree in Elem. Ed. with a Child Development emphasis. I have always loved working with younger kids the most. Their precious expressions and simple views in life always keep me loving life!
I live on the Rosemount/Lakeville border with my husband, Greg of 19 years. Together we have four children, Christian, Kylee, and Lauren (13) and Noah (8 1/2). The triplets are in 7th grade and Noah is in 3rd Grade at Cedar Park Elem. Our family especially enjoys swimming and fishing together. Anything we can do outside is fun, including frog catching, our latest adventure.
In my “Mommy time” I enjoy reading, baking, crafts and most of all the quiet of God’s world. I am excited for a FUN year with your children. Blessings, Lori
Lisa Gilbertson
I am thrilled to say this is my third year here at GDK and my second as a lead teacher for two of our 4 year old classes. I have been an active volunteer with children in District 196 since 1996. The past several years have also found me volunteering with vacation bible school, confirmation, children’s ministries, and a Girl Scout leader. It is my passion for working with children and my love of learning which has me back at school myself at St. Catherine’s University furthering my own education. I am always very excited to share with your children just how much fun learning is!
I live in Apple Valley with my husband, Thomas, and am happy to say we will be celebrating twenty years together this fall. We have been blessed with three beautiful children. Our oldest son, Cory is 18 and will be starting this fall at the Institute of Production and Recording, Mitchell is 15 and will be a freshman at Eastview, and our daughter, Hope is almost 10 and will be in fourth grade at Highland Elementary. We enjoy being together as a family and sharing in each other’s interests. Our kids keep us busy with football and lacrosse games, dance recitals, and choir concerts.
Life is very good and God has blessed me with this incredible job…
Jeanie Landree
I have a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. I enjoyed teaching first grade in Minneapolis for several years. My favorite time in my life was being a stay-at-home mother with my two children. After my children graduated from high school, I decided that I would especially like to teach preschool children. My favorite ages are four and five year olds. I am now starting my fourth year at GDK.
I live in Apple Valley with my husband, John, and we have been married for 34 years. I have two children: Joe, who works in marketing for Ameriprise Financial in Minneapolis, and Caroline, who works in public relations for Edelman in Chicago. My favorite activities include spending time with my family, gardening, reading, and walking. I am excited for another school year, because preschoolers are such bright and funny little people.
Amy Saam
I am a new assistant teacher in the four year old class. I am so excited to be part of the GDK preschool program! Over the past several years I have had the opportunity to work with children in Sunday school, vacation bible school and as a part time art teacher. I also stayed at home with my children and enjoyed watching them learn and grow.
My husband Matt and I have been married 10 years and recently moved to the Rosemount area last fall. We have two daughters Madison (7 yrs) and Kate (5 yrs) who attend Rosemount Elementary School. As a family we love to go swimming, biking and cheering for our favorite sports teams the MN Twins and the MN Vikings. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, baking, reading, and card making.
I love the eagerness and joy that children bring to the classroom! I look forward to meeting your children and helping them create special preschool memories here at GDK.

Linda Montgomery
Hello! I am Linda Montgomery, the assistant teacher for the three-year-olds classes. I feel very much at home working here because Rosemount United Methodist has been my church home for the past 36 years. During that time I enjoyed teaching Church school, directing the Vacation Bible School, serving as nursery and children's co-ordinators and spent several years on the Education committee. I also spent 10 years working for Ind. School District 196. In 2004 I was thrilled to be part of the team that started God's Discovery Kids.
I have been married to my husband, Tom, for 39 years and we have four grown children. We are also truly blessed to have two grandchildren Milo, almost 8 and Liam, who is 2. This winter our third grandchild will be born in February. When I'm not playing with those little ones, I enjoy volunteering, reading, gardening, and my new passion, distance walking. But my first love will always be interaction with small children and I can't wait to meet yours!

I am delighted to say that I will be working with Shauna as an assistant teacher for the 5 year old class. This will be my first year with Gods Discovery Kids preschool. I have previously worked as an assistant teacher at the Y.M.C.A. and as a teacher’s aide at Country Garden Preschool. I love sharing my time with children; therefore, I have enjoyed volunteering as a Girl Scout leader for my daughter’s troop for the past 3 years and will continue to do so this year. I also enjoy volunteering as much as possible in my children’s classrooms at Highland Elementary as well as the school library and yearbook.
I live in Apple Valley with my husband of 15 years and my 3 daughters. We are originally from Pennsylvania, moving to Minnesota in 1997. My daughters are Sarah, age 14, Hannah, age 11, and Leah, age 8. Our family is currently doting on our 4 month old black Labrador, Ellie. I enjoy spending time as much as possible with my family and spend much time chauffeuring my children to their various activities and lessons. I also enjoy vegetable and flower gardening, walking, M&Ms, knitting, baking, being crafty with the kids, listening to radio station 98.5 KTIS, and being outdoors in the warm sunshine.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year of exploring, playing, and learning with your children this coming year.
