rice (both packaged dinners and plain or brown rice in pound bags)

pasta (mac and cheese dinners are very popular)
spaghetti sauce (and tomato sauce of all kinds)
canned vegetables and fruit

cereal (the large less expensive bags)
cookie and cake mixes flour, sugar, salt, other baking products
coffee

HOUSEHOLD GOODS
toilet paper
paper towels

bar soap

You would not believe the amount of food the Resource Center goes through weekly. They often have to refer folks to other centers (such as Messiah) who have more resources. Groups are encouraged to shop at Sam's club and buy cases of items. We always encourage individual givers to take advantage of the "dollar stores" when buying household products to take advantage of the savings.All items can be placed on in the "Donation Location" (by the east entrance soda machines) at RUMC.
